Chicago: Under the agreement Anchor will offer its server management service to Australian and overseas customers through its point of presence in Australia, as well as its owned and operated facilities in the US.

Holloway says Anchor has been involved in building, deploying, monitoring and maintaining some of the largest websites operated by Magento in Australia. “We've invested heavily in understanding how to optimise Magento platforms to deliver the strongest outcomes for our Australian customers. Numerous Anchor studies have demonstrated potential speed increases of up to five times of what one would expect from most out-of-the-box hosting solutions.”
Magento is used by over 125,000 businesses worldwide, including well known brands such as Kookaï, Lindt Chocolates, Mikimoto, OfficeMax, Olympus and The North Face. Bing Lee is one of the largest Australian users. The company was founded in 2008, and was acquired by eBay in 2011.
